Bold & Beautiful’s Ashleigh Brewer Previews the Explosive Reveal of Ivy’s Machinations: ‘What I’m About to Say Could Seem Controversial, But… ’

Friday on The Bold and the Beautiful promises to be judgment day for Ivy: At long last, Daphne is set to buckle under the weight of her guilty conscience and reveal to Electra exactly what happened to the love letter she wrote to boyfriend Will (that we and not the ingenue herself know was intercepted by her busybody aunt). “The stakes are high,” Ashleigh Brewer tells Soaps.com. “All will be revealed.”

Ivy’s One-Track Mind Wants to Run Right Over Will
Obviously, Ivy is convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that Electra belongs with cousin-but-not-by-blood R.J. and not bachelor No. 1 Will. However, the way that Ivy gone about matchmaking — and, for that matter, matchbreaking — could only be described as underhanded. Cruel, even; she’s seen how Electra’s split from Will has tormented her. Yet Ivy doubled rather than backed down!

“As much as I’d love to say Ivy has thought about her current actions from all angles, she unfortunately hasn’t,” Brewer admits. “She is completely blinded by wanting to protect Electra from betrayal and heartache at the hands of the Spencer men, [so] she has completely lost sight of the damage she herself may actually cause.”
